Christianity needs human authorities. But they are to only be obeyed as far as the individual deems necessary. Having an array of excuses where such authorities are not to be obeyed. I thought I followed your argument. But I don't understand this paragraph. Are you suggesting that a "rebelling against authority in the Church" is a sham, easily justified with any sort of "excuse," or are you saying there should be "authority in the church" in the first place?
