Default Re: Oneness in the church

Ephesians 4:3
3 Being diligent to 1keep the 2aoneness of the Spirit in the uniting 3bbond of cpeace:

I was very excited to read Watchman Nee express the idea of Ground of locality as the boundary of a local church about 15 yrs ago or so about 15 years ago. I had been rejected by a christian group that I had been meeting with for about 10 years when I started to take the leadership off the pedistal of thinking that they surely knew what they were doing as they had been doing what they had been doing for a long time and some even for generations. I had believed surely they knew what they were doing and I saw myself as least for many years. I had told God I wasn't going to meet with any believers until He showed me where to go. Shortly thereafter I was introduced to Watchman Nee and the "Orthodoxy of the Church" and the "ground of locality". I realized that everyone in my city who was a believer was the church even though they met in different buildings and each thought everyone that didn't meet with them was wrong. I saw how where I was meeting previously was a lot like the church in Corinth with lots of toys but only able to drink milk. I was kind of happy to get away from the baby bottle but I did experience missing my toys (speaking in tongues, looking for miricles, gifts, emotional experiences, getting prophesies and seeing God as El Shaddai (mighty breasts)). Before me was some meat to chew on and I could grab it and taste it,, I went through some suffering and persecution from those still in love with their bottles but just as Lot was leaving where they had been I didn't look back. I knew not to put others on a pedistal and make them into an idol so did not follow in that direction but I did lay down my King James after much time carrying it and the Recovery. I came to discover the New Testament as a New Covenant and read Galations for the first time and understood that I had been trying to be a slave to the Old and now was free in the Spirit. That the Spirit was in the Word and I didn't have to be in the right place at the right time and the Spirit might show up (at a Benny Hinn event ect).

So now with experience I can say that the oneness of the Spirit is the uniting bond of peace and the Spirit is Christ. So brothers do not be fooled into thinking you will find oneness in the ground or a publication as you and I can sit a few inches from each other and have no oneness easily without the oneness of Spirit. If in the Spirit though we will always find oneness.

1 Peter 3:18
18 For Christ also has suffered once for 1sins, the Righteous 2aon behalf of the unrighteous, that He might bring you bto God, on the one hand being put to death in the flesh, but on the other, made alive in the 3Spirit;

Matthew 24:28
28 Wherever the 1acorpse is, there will the 1vultures be gathered together.
