Of course, we should look to "
Christ and him alone!" That goes without saying. The Bible also teaches us to "
obey the ones leading you and submit to them,
and to be subject to elders." This does not mean that we "
put our faith" in our leaders. There is a huge difference between believing into the Lord and submitting to human leaders. These are two very different matters which our "
unregistered guest" has confused.
