I really don't mean to nitpick, but it's really not a "misunderstanding" at all. Nobody
forgot that "The Apostle" means something very different from "An Apostle". They know what they're saying.
Maybe this is what
Igzy and
Ohio are really disagreeing about? Fist-century Paul called himself "An Apostle", where did he ever call himself "The Apostle"?
