If I understand correctly, Lee regretted in the last phase of his life that they had been so exclusive, so merciless, that they had left so many brothers and sisters on the sidelines, and had caused so much hurt.

It seems to me as if the most people here feel comfortable with a variety of churches according to the well-known, understandable arguments. But for those who, like me, still think that one visibly undivided fellowship would be the better thing, - the one that would suit with the gospel and would be our proper witness (as Steve and others have pointed out), I would like to remind us once again:

THE MISTAKE THAT HAS BEEN MADE CAN BE CORRECTED. Namely by going back to the time of the "vision," when Nee recognized and stated, that in order to serve God’s work of restoration we must NOT understand ouselves as a church. For my part, I would be willing to return to this pure point of the work.
