Default Re: Way down South! - Discussions & Concerns South of the Mason-Dixon Line

The Lord continues to show his reality and power in the lives of the new believers among the Bhutanese refugees from Nepal.

This morning one of the American sisters was sharing about a missionary couple in Japan whom she had been helping and supporting for some time. She was sharing in light of the recent terrible tragedy there. This couple is sponsored by the Free Will Missionary Baptist Association. Their support has been cut in half and they are experiencing many hardships as they seek to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to this nation.

One of the brothers followed by sharing we should give a gift to assist them. Suddenly one of the Bhutanese declared “I will give $50.” This man supports his family with a car wash job. Then a 20 year old young man opened his wallet and emptied it and handed me the bills to add to the gift. Then a single lady passed forward a wad of bills. I then put out an envelope and shared that they could put their offerings for Japan in the envelope. When I checked later there was $505 in cash in the envelope. The church also agreed to give another $1,000.

If any on the forum desires to assist these fellow believers and laborers in His service here are the mailing instructions:
