Pretty much yes. The speakers have been uplifted and this has going back decades.
Some have pointed out their observations at regional conferences. How local leading ones are used as buffers between those in attendance and the speaking blendeds. Based on that observation, ones like Ron are in a special class. There's pride and not humility.
They're more likely to backpedal than to offer any concessions or confessions.
