Excuse me, little correction here.
The “James,” who was one of the Twelve, and the brother of John, one of the “sons of thunder,” was killed by King Herod. (Acts 12.2) That James never wrote anything recorded in the New Testament.
The “James,” who wrote the Epistle of the same name, was the flesh brother of both Jesus and Jude. Jude also wrote an Epistle of the same name.
