Praying for one another is far more edifying and does far more for the building up, than any time devoted to ministry content.
And I remember pondering the same thing when I went to my last LC meeting in Tacoma about 10 years ago - lots of activity, but almost nothing spontaneous that wasn't strictly LSM based.

Since you are from the NW, do you know folks who migrated to Scottsdale?
