Times I would attend home meetings with the Church in Renton (around 2010),
I remembered pondering how narrow and how limited to restrict the home meeting to only ministry publications and hymns/spiritual songs. At that time I recalled back to the mid-90's with home meetings I attended with the Church in Bellevue, opening up personal matters and praying for one another was very common.
Praying for one another is far more edifying and does far more for the building up, than any time devoted to ministry content.
