As for whether or not I’m willing to admit Lee may have been wrong I can assure you, I am not a Lee-ite. Several of my dear friends wish I were. He influenced me greatly and I feel indebted to him but I have real issues with some of what he taught.

Our viewpoints differ. I'm thankful that we are free to differ. In the Local Church that wasn't allowed. The "Unchained" videos are worthwhile if only because they establish that since Witness Lee is not infallible, he is not above question and may err. That wasn't allowed in his churches. Lee discouraged any kind of questioning of his ministry as well as the normal use of the mind i.e. reasoning. Chances are you are still under his influence. That may explain why you interpret the videos the way you do. Personally, I'm amazed that I ever accepted Lee's sloppy exegesis and authoritarian posturing.The "Local Church" was a Witness Lee cult. I feel indebted to the Lord for liberating me from it.
