I don’t mean the teachings, that’s easy, I mean spiritual bondage and spiritual dependence, because of their rituals and practices.
When I left, I was told by a leading guru, that you can leave, but once you are “hooked” you are hooked. It took me some time to understand what that hook is, and it’s only because of God removing that hook and setting me free, I had never even once had those thoughts or even anything close to it again. I promise you one thing, it’s is not coming from God, or the Holy Spirit, but it comes from other spiritual beings that present themselves as god, and the Holy Spirit. You can ask God to set you free from those, and you won’t ever have to deal with it ever again! You don’t need some special person with some special gifts, it’s just you and God, and He can make that happen! I wish I can describe the freedom and liberty, but I don’t have the words to do so! I would trade all I have for it, and it would feel like a drop in the bucket!
I’ll keep you in my prayers Bible-believer.
Thanks

I totally agree that thoughts of suicide are not coming from God, but from God's enemy. Statements from ANYBODY that "you can't leave"..."you're hooked"..."your walk with the Lord will be over"...such comments as these are lies...a
curse. A curse also perpetrated by God's enemy who desires to sift you like wheat. As you pray, pray for protection from such words, lies, from His enemy...regardless of who speaks such things designed to trap you in a web of lies.
As for "
You don’t need some special person with some special gifts, it’s just you and God, and He can make that happen!" This may be true for some, but not necessarily for all. You may need some help from another person--a believer. God may lead you to seek counseling. We need each other to help expose the lies of the devil.
