Thank you so much brother Steve for sticking it out all these years, and having the heart and fortitude to helping all of us "come back to the truth". Rest assured, your reward is in heaven my friend.

The world needs at least two other Steve Isitts - One to speak the truth in love about Watchman Nee and the Local Church movement in Mainland China during the early years - someone who could confirm what Dr. Lily Hsu wrote in her groundbreaking work My Unforgettable Memories: Watchman Nee and Shanghai Local Church Unfortunately, this generation is leaving us quickly. Most of the saints who have experience with Nee and the early years are probably with the Lord or locked away forever in the bowels of Communist China.

The second would be someone with intimate knowledge and experience with the true history of the Local Church movement in Taiwan from the late 1940s until the mid 1960s. We now know for a fact that Witness Lee was using and abusing people in the exact same manner as he did in the later days in Anaheim. He was already hiring and firing elders and co-workers at his personal whim. Only those with unquestioned loyalty remained in his favor or were promoted to prominent ministry positions. He was already committing major financial malfeasance against the churches and individual brothers and sisters. He was already using church funds to support his worldly sons. He was already calling anyone who even questioned or challenged him about his ungodly and illegal activities as "rebellious". I am certain that there are still many saints still alive that can give strong confirmation about these matters. They need to speak before this generation passes away as well. May God have mercy.
