Or maybe not as exceptional as it seems. I am not diminishing the account, but noting that there is a growing trend for the true church — the body of Christ that is often busy within its various assemblies — to ignore the irrelevant differences that in the past kept them apart and work together in the unity of faith and in the gospel. I have seen it in the Dallas area, not only in things in which our assembly is engaged, but in many others. I hear reports from other parts of the country. And now in these days I have been hearing of it from Raleigh-Durham.

Maybe it is becoming the rule and the exception is the group that hides behind its wall and pretends that the rest of their brothers and sisters do not really exist. As I see more and more of these examples, I realize that James really had it right. If you truly believe Jesus, then it will show in your life. If there is nothing to see, then there is a big question mark on your belief.

Hello Mike,

No need to trip over yourself with praise. We can only thank the Lord Jesus for our salvation and His continual love toward us and toward the world. We all are vessels of mercy.

We can praise how real Jesus Christ is as He works in the hearts of strangers to come together under His headship to meet the needs of others and witness how the Spirit moves in the hearts of men to believe in the Lord Jesus.

In Christ Jesus,

Hope
