Qanon

Something my brother in Birmingham got me started on......
Q-anon - facts or speculations?
Surely seems like a conspiracy theory, but what if there is some elements of facts to it?

Re: Politics and the Church

Entire process has been politicized. If at any time Senator Feinstein cared about truth and justice, FBI would have had something to investigate back in July.
Did Kavanaugh do as alleged or didn't...

Re: Leaders of the Lord's Recovery

According to Norm Minahan, he had a different perspective via posts from thebereans.net:

"Here is how I understood what took place related to GG.

GG signed the letter of quarantine related to...

Re: Self serving doctrine of Lee

Several others at the top of my mind are:
Noah principle (aka cover the brothers)
Deputy/Delegated Authority

Re: The Worst Mouthful Ever

"We in the Lord's Recovery have the great Treasure store."

I have heard that statement and ones similar to it meaning: "We in the Local Churches have everything and those in Christianity have...

Re: The Worst Mouthful Ever

When one leaves the local churches, it's expected you leave like a gentleman. However the same behavior will not be afforded to you by those who remain.

Just as Ohio has experienced among...

Re: False Narrative of Church History

Even if someone provided proof Witness Lee's reported income was six figures, seven figures, or eight figures, I'm sure the response by the most loyal LSMer would be "whatever, doesn't matter". Even...

Re: False Narrative of Church History

So many questions and so few answers.
Who did the accounting/bookkeeping in the 70's and 80's?
How would the Taipei office or any other ministry office outside the United States be held accountable...

Cover the Brothers?

In other words this teaching can be described as "cover the brothers". I ask how many generations of parents and children have suffered damage due to this perverted practice? How many?
Answer this,...

Re: False Narrative of Church History

When I came back in the mid-nineties, it was more can we go on without bringing up the past? In Bellevue, that lasted for a few years.
Now, when different ones have the concept...

Re: One Publication

Is this really accurate?
I seem to recall up until a particular time during the 70's perhaps, there were multiple publications available in bookrooms. Restriction to one publication as the author...

Re: Grace, mercy, humility

I would agree Sons to Glory. One of the best of Witness Lee writings, but it leaves a hollow and sad feeling knowing no matter how good the teaching is as demonstrated in the writings, the practices...

Re: Question of salvation and reconciliation.

I would discount Hanegraff. If it had been Walter Martin instead of Hank, you would have a point. Opinions other past and current posters have raised was Hank could be bought with a dollar amount. If...

Re: Question of salvation and reconciliation.

Any talk about reconciliation is just lipservice until it actually happens. LC track record is the leadership is never wrong and won't apologize for anything.

Re: If you were in Scottsdale would you take the Table..

It's like a pyramid. In practice if attitudes change it begins with the blended co-workers. Cascades down to local elders and maybe then to congregations of each locality.
This is due in part to the...

Re: If you were in Scottsdale would you take the Table..

I will use Moses Lake, Washington as a frame of reference. Broke with LSM in 1986, but still consider themselves a local church. When I was meeting with the church in Bellevue in the 1990's once of...

Re: Politics and the Church

While I agree with ZNP's criticism of Trump from the last line of his post in #3513, there is a transparent discrepancy in regard to the media's projection of Obama versus the media's projection of...

Re: Would a LC saint take the Table with us?

A bigger question is can there be "same appearance and same shining" without Living Stream Ministry influences?
If the answer is yes, I say amen.
If the answer is no, then I say what we have are...

Re: Would a LC saint take the Table with us?

Not everyone meeting in the local churches may feel this way, but ones I have spoken to would abstain from taking the table.

Re: Would a LC saint take the Table with us?

I would even say even to basics of meeting house to house. If the home meetings is not based on LSM publications, the fellowship is considered illegitimate. Thus no interest to meet with a non-LSM...

Re: Would a LC saint take the Table with us?

I am not. It's not about what name is being taken than it is about the assembly you meet with. Do they have a relationship with LSM? If not, they meet in division because of not meeting on the proper...

Re: Would a LC saint take the Table with us?

Best way I can explain is ones meeting with the local churches believe they're meeting in oneness and everyone else is meeting divisively. May come and meet, but to take communion would be considered...
