Even when you search for localchurchdiscussions.com on Google, the site does not appear in the results. What's going on?

Perhaps the site admin could use https://search.google.com/search-console to diagnose the issue preventing localchurchdiscussions.com from being indexed.

I found the reason is because the robots.txt file prevents Googlebot so this seems intentional:

https://localchurchdiscussions.com/robots.txt

Is this to save on server cost? Did you know you can adjust the crawl rate in the Google search console?

This is regarding the website showing up in Google search results. The site currently does not allow Google to index via the robots.txt file being served here: https://localchurchdiscussions.com/robots.txt

So when someone in the LC tries to look up information regarding Witness Lee, they will never be able to find https://localchurchdiscussions.com/ via Google or any other search engine.

In this current state the site can then only grow traffic based on email, social media shares or word of mouth. I recommend removing the robots.txt file to allow search engines to index localchurchdiscussions.com
