I have been seriously betrayed over the years by some of my close friends.

I guess then that all of my decisions have been according to the working of the Triune God in my being.

How to decide?
We know that one of the twelve selected by the Lord was Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Him . To be sure, the Lord Jesus knew that Judas would betray Him. I believe that before making His selection, the Lord consulted with the Father in prayer. His appointing of the twelve was actually not the carrying out of His own will.
