I use both.

I usually use IE6, though.

I'm real a real traditionalist, as you may have noticed...

Ohio Mike, sorry, I can't help. I have decided to stay with XP Home until the "vista bugs" are worked out. Also, I have found the forum spell checker to be adequate when coupled with the M-W dictionary / thesaurus on a second tab.

Technical Issues

I have become frustrated with the technical aspects of posting lately. It has nothing to do with the forum, but with the fact that I am now saddled with VISTA and Word 2007.

I have always used Word to draft my posts, using the spelling and editing features there before copying and pasting into the forum. Prior to the migration to VISTA and Word 2007, this was a simple process.

But now, if I paste directly from Word, the resulting post displays numerous bogus “tags” such as starting each paragraph with and then ending each paragraph with .

(I even did the direct paste on this text just to get those tags accurately.)

To avoid this, I have started to paste my text first to Notepad and then copy that and paste that to the forum space (since it has only the text).

Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, is there a solution that does not require the extra step to avoid the added garbage in the posts?
