I come fresh from having gone through videos of the meetings that preceded the quarantines of four leaders in the local churches – John Ingalls, Bill Mallon, John So, and Joseph Fung, (1990). This was quite a spectacle and one that demonstrated the remarkable force, energy, and influence of Witness Lee among the church leaders.

Loyal brothers first perceive the beginning of central control by WL through LSM.

John Ingalls- “Brother Lee mentioned that Bill Mallon, John So, and myself all used the same term – central control. He deduced that we must have consulted or “conspired” together. The fact was that we all had the same realization because of separate similar experiences without any consultation and certainly without any “conspiring” with each other. John So began to be concerned in 1986, Bill Mallon in the spring of 1987, and myself in the fall of 1987. Bill Mallon "The brothers simply came together to discuss their serious concerns and desired to bring those concerns into fellowship with other brothers, including Brother Lee. John Ingalls approached Brother Lee sixteen times on behalf of the feeling of many brothers and the burden that many of them had at that time. Ken Unger went to Brother Lee twenty times. After a considerable amount of time had passed with little progress being made, certain brothers began to speak out according to their convictions, based on the Word of God, prior church ministry, and their conscience. I've been listening/taking notes from a November 1989 video that was shared privately via email.
Interesting in this video you hear words such as conspiracy, division, etc that in current national issues is uttered by the left. It's been an observation since 2015 similarities LSM and the so-called progressive left share. They always tend to project on others what they have been doing. I'll move on now to the primary point of my post.
At the 47:32 of the video and you'll have to take my word for it the speaking brother from Taiwan touches on Linko. In 1985 37 acres bought for $850,000 US. This was land later deemed not permitted to be developed. Many churches across the earth gave. There was a separate piece of land in Taipei; a half-acre that was purchased for $10,000,000. Paraphrasing the speaking brother there was detailed accounting regarding the land purchases. Reports and receipts were sent back to the giving localities.
I guess we can close the book on Linko. Right?
