Hopefully my attachment of Steve Isitt's "Affirmation & Critique" of Ron Kangas and Kerry Robichaux's book will upload.

As Steve Isitt includes the preface from Ron and Kerry's book, the quote in bold:
"Since the material in this document concerns an event that took place in the church in Anaheim and since we, the authors, do not live in Anaheim, we believe that it is appropriate for us to state our grounds for writing this material. First, we are organic members of the Body of Christ, and what took place in Anaheim was not only a local matter but also a Body matter."
is contradicting what s "a Body matter" in relation to what Benson Phillips and Ray Graver told John Ingalls and Ken Unger in Speaking the Truth in Love.
"Benson admitted that the same sister from the LSM office (mentioned previously) had come to him in Taipei to disclose a related event, but he strongly protested our bringing this matter before them. They argued that this affair was exclusively under the jurisdiction of the church in Anaheim, and they had no business being involved. We felt, as we mentioned earlier, that it was more than local, and that since that they were leaders in the LSM operation, they could be consulted."

In post #2 I had pointed out Ron and Kerry were contradicting Benson and Ray regarding what happens in the Church in Anaheim. Benson and Ray felt what happened in Anaheim's locality was no more than a local matter. Ron and Kerry as expressed in A Response to Recent Accusations say what happens in the Church in Anaheim is both a local matter and a Body matter. Since Ron and Kerry felt what happens in the Church in Anaheim is a Body matter, perhaps Ron and Kerry would have been more open to fellowship from John Ingalls and Ken Unger in December 1987 regarding PL rather than what Benson and Ray exhibited.
Question remains if DCP will ever offer their own Affirnation and Critique of Steve Isitt's writings?

Philip Lin Comment
Philip Lin, an Anaheim elder during the late eighties on the Chinese side, spoke honestly during the turmoil. A brother relates a time with him,
I recall a leaders’ meeting before a Sunday morning meeting in Anaheim during the late eighties turmoil. A few of us younger brothers who were learning to serve in the church, helping the elders, etc. were there and had been involved in such meetings for quite some time. I had asked the question: "Why should we let two brothers who don't even come to the meetings wreak havoc on a church of over 500 people? Let's just ignore them and go on." Just after I asked it, Philip Lin walked in late. He asked what the question was that was asked and Godfred replied, "It was a very good question, and told me to ask it again. So I did, and this was Philip Lin’s almost verbatim response:[B] "I know in my conscience you brothers are right according to the truth, but in my culture I must be loyal to Brother Lee." Of course he was not just referring to my question but to the overall situation, the 16 points the faithful elders had previously ministered, etc. Frankly, I appreciated and admired his honesty. It was so striking I still clearly remember it today.

Quote attributed to Phillip Lin in bold. That indicates an acknowledgment the so-called dissenting brothers were right according to truth.

Look carefully at those two words: "my culture". Don't ignore or miss them. They explain a lot of the differences between what we heard of, and what we actually saw.

That statement really speaks for itself regarding the attitude of those who sided with Lee. This is why I place no trust in the current group of BB's. It is clear that they chose politics over truth.
