As Benson Philips says, "We don't care for that"
Unregistered, I am curious at your point of reference? Are you one who used to meet in the local churches or one who still does?
I am quite sure there are forum participants and forum lurkers who echo you r point of view and I am just one preaching to the cows. I am fine with that. However I see the history as a means of explaining the present situation.
Related to your quote "we don't care for that", taking the stance you are one who meets in the local churches, then you would also know the effort those within the LSM fellowship took to contact brothers and sisters who were present during the Elden hall era. Some one must have cared about that.
As for the history over the last 25-30 years, I know some of the blendeds via Chris Wilde feel that it would "open up wounds" to touch those issues.
Why shouldn't we care for that?
During my adult time in the local churches I've heard in home meetings and in Lord's Day meetings those who left the local churches verbally attacked.
Concerning the real issues "we don't care for that". Yet the havoc Phillip Lee created in Anaheim, "we don't care for that".
